Billie Eilish cancels world tour, including PH stop, after failed rescheduling efforts
Despite their efforts to “proactively reschedule” her “Where Do We Go” world tour, Billie Eilish and her team, having exhausted possible options, were left with no choice but to officially cancel all concert dates, including Manila.
“We have tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour, but none were possible,” the 18-year-old recording artist said in a statement posted recently on her social media pages.
The Philippine stop, which was to be mounted by MMI Live, was originally set last Sept. 5 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Fans who purchased tickets may contact SM Tickets ([email protected]) for refunds.
“Although I know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and VIP passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can,” pointed out 2019’s biggest breakout artist, who took home five trophies at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
“Where Do We Go”—mounted in support for her critically acclaimed debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”—managed to hold only three shows in the United States last March, before the COVID-19 pandemic struck and prompted lockdowns around the world.

“I wish that I could have seen you on tour this year,” said the pop star, who’s known for her brooding and deceptively melodic alternative pop sound. “I have missed performing for you and being on stage so much I can.”
For now, safety comes first. Billie reminded her followers to continue taking health and safety precautions. “I love you so much. Stay safe. Drink lots of water. Wear a mask,” she said.
