Actress-TV host Bettinna Carlos and non-showbiz partner Mikki Eduardo tied the knot Wednesday, Dec. 2.
The couple, who got engaged last October, shared moments from their wedding day on social media, where fans and friends alike extended their congratulations.
Carlos first took to Instagram yesterday where she shared a photo of a bunch of white flowers from Ginger Event Styling.
“This is THE DAY that the Lord has made,” she wrote in her caption with hashtags #KasalangBeKki2020 and #BeKki—a play on their names Bettinna and Mikki.
In another post, she shared a photo of her and her husband sharing a tender kiss. The couple had two celebrations, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, which were covered by photographers Jay Jay Lucas of Chestknots Studio and Pat Dy, respectively.
“For some reason I knew in my heart I was going to get married this year… BUT I did not expect it to be TWICE and on the same day. Thankfully to the same man,” she said. “Bettinna Carlos Eduardo po, nagpapakilalang bagong COVID bride.”
Marian Rivera, Camille Prats, Iya Villania, Yasmien Kurdi and Carla Abellana, among others, were just some of the celebrities who sent the newlyweds their well wishes.
“Awww… Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Eduardo,” said Villania.
“God is truly faithful to those who love Him,” said Prats. “Really happy for you mars.”
Eduardo also shared snaps from their wedding on his Instagram yesterday.
Carlos introduced Eduardo, an entrepreneur, to the public last Aug. 14. At the time, Carlos shared she had long prayed for a man who would accept not only her but also her daughter Gummy.
“I didn’t have to wait for you to love G because from Day 0 you have already decided…,” she said then. “You are perfect FOR US, my Love. You are my answered prayer. A blessing from the Lord. I thank God for you everytime I remember you.”
