“ABS-CBN has full confidence that Ms. Kuan, an industry veteran, will manage Bea with the same attention and care that Star Magic has devoted to Bea’s professional career,” the network added.

The network added that Star Magic is coordinating with Alonzo and her new management “ to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.”

“Even if Bea is no longer with Star Magic, she will always remain a Kapamilya,” ABS-CBN said.

The Philippine Entertainment Portal, citing industry sources, first reported that Alonzo decided to leave Star Magic. The report further read that Alonzo will remain a Kapamilya.

Alonzo started her career in 2001, as she was part of Star Magic Batch 10 alongside Karel Marquez, TJ Trinidad, Nadine Samonte, Dennis Trillo, and Alfred Vargas.

The actress starred in some of ABS-CBN’s most memorable teleseryes such as “Maging Sino Ka Man,” “I Love Betty La Fea” and “It Might Be You.”
