Jericho Rosales and his wife Kim Jones donated 400 food packs to Marikina, days after Typhoon Ulysses ravaged the city.

The couple sent the meals to Bea Alonzo’s organization I Am Hope, which has been holding a donation drive for typhoon victims. The group handed out the food packs to residents of barangays Tumana and Malanday, as per its Instagram post last Monday, Nov. 23.

“The world is always a better place when we all help others in need, even in our own little way,” the organization said alongside photos from the distribution.

Alonzo, fellow co-founder Rina Navarro and volunteers also helped pack the meals before they were delivered to those in need.

Those interested in sending cash donations to the organization’s initiative may deposit to these accounts:

Meanwhile, in-kind donations should be dropped off at the Spirit of Communications building, 106 Palanca St., Legazpi Village, Makati City.

Along with the three celebrities, their fellow artists such as Angel Locsin and Jasmine Curtis-Smith have also extended help to those severely affected by Typhoons Ulysses and Rolly. Prior to donating the food packs, Rosales and Jones used their surfboards to assist rescue efforts in Marikina when the city experienced massive flooding last Nov. 12. JB
