Award-winning British pop group Little Mix announced that one of its members, 29-year-old Jesy Nelson, will be on an indefinite break over undisclosed health issues.
“Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons,” the group said in a statement shared by publicist Simon Jones on Twitter earlier today, Nov. 18.
“We will not be issuing any further comment currently and ask media to please respect her privacy at this time,” it further stated.

Nelson has notably been missing in the band’s recent appearances, particularly on their final at the BBC One talent show and at the MTV European Music Awards, among others.
Little Mix, which started on “X Factor” in 2011, has so far released six albums. The latest one, titled “Confetti,” entered United Kingdom charts at number two last week. JB
