Angel Locsin is offering an assistance of P1,000 to those who have been affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Rolly (international name: Goni).

The actress announced that the cash aid, called “Typhoon Rolly Assistance Initiative,” will benefit 1,000 typhoon victims in need. Applications for the assistance are being accepted until today, Nov. 4, Locsin said on Twitter.

Beneficiaries need a GCash account to receive the cash assistance. The application involves making a video, not more than 2 minutes, where one must state their name and location and show their conditions. The video should be sent as a private message to the initiative’s Facebook page.

The super typhoon battered Bicol the hardest, with Catanduanes and Albay seeing damage to thousands of homes, communication lines and trees. JB
