Charo Santos-Concio reflected on her life and her blessings as she turned 65 years old last Tuesday, Oct. 27.
“As I look back on my journey of triumphs and trials, wins and losses, favors and failures, I know that I could not have survived these alone and my heart is filled with warmth knowing that I was always being guided every step of the way,” she said on her Instagram page on the same day.
The TV host-actress also recalled highlights from her career in the entertainment industry and sweet moments with her loved ones. Among them were the Baron Travel Girl pageant back in 1976 and the International Emmy Awards.
“I am grateful to have lived, loved, and learned and all the more thankful that I am continually living, loving, and learning,” Santos-Concio added.
She then thanked everyone who greeted her a happy birthday and proudly exclaimed: “It’s so good to be 65!”
Santos-Concio is best known for hosting the TV drama-anthology series “Maalala Mo Kaya.” Aside from the said program, she also appeared in last year’s TV drama series “Starla,” alongside Judy Ann Santos, Meryll Soriano and Raymart Santiago. JB
