WATCH: Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla deal with family feud in ‘The House Arrest of Us’ trailer

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be portraying a newly-engaged couple that is forced to live with their feuding families in “The House Arrest of Us.”

Star Cinema released the trailer for the upcoming “digital movie series” on its YouTube page yesterday, Oct. 14.

It sees Padilla’s character visit Bernardo’s home to ask her parents (played by Ruffa Gutierrez and Herbert Bautista) for her hand in marriage. Padilla brings his own family as well to mark the event.

However, tensions between the families soon rise when an imposed enhanced community quarantine forces them to live under one roof. The new situation proves to be difficult for the couple, which only worsens when one of them possibly contract a disease.

The digital series is set to premiere on KTX.ph and iWantTFC on Oct. 24. It also features Arlene Muhlach, Gardo Versoza and Dennis Padilla. JB
