Gerald’s pet peeves
Gerald Santos may be juggling various artistic endeavors these days. But the singing champ and “Miss Saigon” alumnus, who will be seen in the virtual concert “The Great Shift” at 9 p.m. on Saturday (visit ticket2me.net for tickets), turns to the “simple pleasures in life” when he needs to decompress from all the hustle and bustle of his life as a performer.
“When I’m not working, you’ll see me either listening to music, working out or playing with my dogs,” he told Inquirer Entertainment. “These things allow me to recharge.”
Another thing that the soft-spoken singer largely benefits from is his patience. But asked about his pet peeves, he quickly singles out the kind of people he’d rather be as far away from. “I don’t like arrogant and entitled people,” he said. “I also dislike those who don’t value other people’s time—that’s very disrespectful,” he quipped, before winkingly adding. “Oh, and those who pass gas in the elevator (laughs).”
