MANILA, Philippines — Megastar Sharon Cuneta can’t hep but gush over her youngest daughter Miel, who caught the attention of her followers for sounding “exactly” like her mom when she sang the singer-actress’ 80’s hit song, “High School Life.”
In an Instagram post Wednesday, Cuneta shared a video of her performance with daughters Miel and Frankie Pangilinan in an event that paid tribute to teachers.
“Many noticed how Miel sounded exactly like me when I first recorded ‘High School Life’ at 14!” Cuneta said.
“High School Life” was released 1981 during Cuneta’s high school years. It also served as lead single of Cuneta’s album “High School.”
Cuneta, meanwhile, described Frankie who sang her 1978 hit song “Mr. DJ” as a “pro.”
Frankie has released self-written songs in the past like “TYL,” “Battlescars,” “Selfish” and more.
Recently, she held an online fundraising concert for families in need from Sorsogon.
Frankie has also been looking for music producers whom she could work with for future collaborations.
