Gabbi Garcia helped Khalil Ramos overcome his fear of open water as they went scuba diving in Batangas over the weekend.
Garcia, who is an experienced diver, showed photos from their quick getaway on her Instagram page last Sunday, Oct. 4.
“I’ve been a licensed [scuba diver] since 2010, but every dive still gives me goosebumps. Marine life is so PRECIOUS,” she said. “I’m also happy that @khalilramos and my friends had their very first intro dive!!!”
Ramos and Garcia’s friends learned from her godfather Bell, who taught her how to scuba dive back when she was just 10 years old. Along with photos from their recent dive, Garcia looked back on her love for diving by sharing an image of her younger self with some scuba gear.
As for Ramos, he proudly expressed that he has finally ticked off scuba diving from his bucket list.
“All my life I’ve been scared of the open water, ‘til I saw the beauty beneath the surface,” he said. “Thank you my love @gabbi for always pushing me to live life to the fullest!!”
Garcia later posted short videos from their dive, which showed her and Ramos in full gear while swimming near corals and fishes. She also revealed that she served as the cameraman for Ramos and her friends’ first dive but managed to sneak in some selfies.
Following their dive, Ramos showcased his talent behind the camera and snapped two photos of Garcia by the waters, wearing a maroon one-piece swimsuit as she posed.
Ramos and Garcia confirmed that they were dating back in July 2018 during their guesting on the talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda”. Though they are from rival networks, they were able to work together in last year’s coming-of-age music-themed film “LSS”. JB
