The teaser for “LSS” (Last Song Syndrome), released on Thursday, July 11, shows that the pursuit of love and dreams can come with good music. It is backed with Ben&Ben’s breezy folk sound, in particular the uplifting “Ride Home.”

“LSS” follows Sarah, an aspiring musician and Zack, who has an unrequited love for another girl who is his best friend. The pair bonds in music shows and Sarah’s songwriting, with Zack assuring her that he believes in her.
The movie is directed by Jade Castro (“Endo,” “Zombadings”). The real-life couple has collaborated on projects such as a music video and vlogs, but this is Garcia and Ramos’ first film together. They each work in rival networks, with Garcia in GMA and Ramos in ABS-CBN.
“LSS” hit screens at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino from September 13 to 19. /ra
