MANILA, Philippines — Personalities from the Kapamilya network could not help but rejoice when news broke that ABS-CBN shows are returning on free television via Zoe TV.

“Better Days!!!!” comedian and host Vice Ganda gushed on Twitter, sharing a photo of ABS-CBN’s announcement.

ABS-CBN announced earlier Tuesday that some of its shows and movies will soon air over A2Z Channel 11, a rebrand of Zoe TV, which is owned by Brother Eddie Villanueva.

The afternoon variety show “It’s Showtime” hosted by the comedian and other Kapamilya stars was reportedly among the programs airing on A2Z Channel 11 starting Saturday, October 10.

Since signing off, the network continued to air its news programs and other shows via its digital platforms.
