One gov’t decision that angers Max Eigenmann
I think we could do a better job,” said actress Max Eigenmann about how she thought Filipinos are reacting to the government-imposed quarantine to battle the deadly COVID-19.
“I honestly don’t think that our … people are doing a good job of doing so. Many of us are doing our best but it seems that it’s not good enough,” she said, noting the continuous rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country.
“I’m still living in fear,” said the mom of two boys. “I’m the one with the quarantine pass. Whenever I stepped out of the house to buy supplies, especially back when we were still under ECQ (enhanced community quarantine), it always felt like I’m about to participate in a war.”
The actress added: “I also don’t understand why our government spent more time closing a network rather than fighting the pandemic. Nakakagalit ‘yon. I’m not too vocal about issues, but I really question that. It’s one of the issues that makes me angry.” —Marinel Cruz INQ
