More exciting news is in store for Widescope Advertising Agency as it welcomes multi-awarded singer-songwriter Ebe Dancel as Artist & Repertoire (A&R) Manager for its new arm ‘Widescope Entertainment’.

Since co-founding the hit-making rock band ‘Sugarfree’ in 1999, Dancel has quickly established himself as one of the most distinguished voices not only in the alternative rock scene but in all of OPM as well. He is known as the man behind OPM hits like “Burnout”, “Prom”, and “Bawat Daan” among others. After the band parted ways in 2011, Dancel continued to cement himself in the OPM scene both as a successful solo artist and as a sought-after composer for other artists.

When asked about his new role, Dancel remarks: “I’m very happy to be part of Widescope. I like the company’s direction and I appreciate the fact that they trust me. I’ve been singing, performing, and recording for over two decades now and I’m excited to share what I know with the fresh, young talents out there, artists we can develop because OPM needs to keep going so I’m going to do everything that I can to help.”

With Dancel on-board, Widescope’s Music & Entertainment Director Neil Gregorio said that the company is very excited to work with an artist of Dancel’s caliber stating: “Given his expertise in songwriting and production work, I am confident that he can help mentor and supervise future Artists under our label on top of the demands of his A&R role. Aside from usual duties, I expect Ebe to put forth the knowledge he gained throughout the years as a musician and make use of it to collaborate with our artists to maximize their potentials.”

As Widescope continues to build up and diversify its roster of artists, the company is expected to transform the advertising and entertainment industries to new and unprecedented heights.
