Danica Sotto and her family recently celebrated her daughter Anielle Micaela’s ninth birthday in an intimate party at home.

Sotto shared with fans about the simple affair yesterday Sept. 20 via Instagram. In one photo, Sotto, husband Marc Pingris and son Jean Michael can be seen surrounding the birthday girl who was all smiles as she held up a chocolate cake.

Happy Birthday to our sweet baby girl,” said Sotto. “Thank you for being so appreciative and always finding ways to make us smile. We love you Caela.”

The celebration at home, however, would not be possible without the help of “angels.” In another post, Sotto credited their kasambahay or ates at home for taking charge and ordering the party decorations online in time for Caela’s birthday. Indeed, their home looked festive, thanks to pink and unicorn balloons, printed photos and birthday banners that adorned the walls and ceilings.

“I don’t know [paano] nila nagawa mag decorate ng ganon kabilis,” she said. “Salamat sa inyo. Super blessed sa pagmamahal nila.”

She added that her daughter had been wanting to go out and spend her birthday in the company of friends and cousins, but was not able to due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, Caela’s birthday was still a success, thanks to their helpers who made the best out of the current circumstances to make her feel special.

“They just made a way to make her feel extra special [despite it being a] quarantine [birthday],” said Sotto. “Hayyy my heart is so full. Salamat (Thank you) Lord sa araw na ito (for this day).” JB
