“Hindi naman namin itinago. Hindi lang namin na-post (We did not hide it. We just did not post it),” Aquino said.

“Eh, kasama ko si Trina. Alangan namang itago ko (Trina was with me. How could I hide her)?” he remarked.

He also said there was no hesitation in sharing the news once their baby was born.

Nagpo-post ako kasi gusto ko, gusto namin ni Tina i-share ‘yung happiness (I do not post for other people. I post because I want to, because Trina and I want to share the happiness),” he explained.

Aquino discussed too how they came with their baby’s unique name. He said “Enola” came from Trina, and that it is “alone” spelled backwards.

“We want her to grow up very adventurous, independent,” he said.

“Mithi” came from him and is a tribute to his character’s love interest in a show from his younger years, “Pahina.”

Aquino also could not hide his joy in being a father. Ang sarap na nagtatrabaho ka para sa kanila (It feels great when you are no longer your own priority but instead it is your mom and child, your family. It feels good to work for them).”

When asked about marriage, he said they would need to save first.

For now, he is appreciating the time he has with their newborn before he goes back to work and has to be locked in on set.
