Angeline Quinto asks for prayers for ailing mom
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto has asked for prayers for her adoptive mother Sylvia.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Quinto, without disclosing further information, said she is now undergoing the greatest challenge of her life.
“Ito ang pinaka-matinding pagsubok sa buhay ko. Hindi Mo ako kahit kailan binigyan ng pagsubok na hindi ko kaya. Ama, buong-buo ang tiwala at pananalig ko sayo. Wag mong pabayaan ang taong pinakamahal ko, Ama,” she said.
(This is the greatest challenge of my life. You did not give me any challenge that I cannot endure. Father, I have full faith in you. Please don’t abandon the person I love the most.)
“Please pray for Mama Bob,” Quinto added.

In a separate post on Sunday, the “Star Power” grand winner also posted a photo of her and her mom, whom she called her “life and world.”
“Ang buhay at mundo ko. Wag ka panghinaan ng loob, hinding hindi ako aalis sa tabi mo. Hindi ka mag-isa lumalaban ngayon. Nandito ako. Nandito kami. Kayang kaya mo yan, Ma. Mahal na mahal kita higit sa lahat,” she said in the caption.

Quinto still did not disclose the ailment of her mom in her social media posts, even as she asked for prayers.
In July, 2019, Quinto’s mom underwent an operation for the replacement of a pacemaker for her heart.
