Sharon Cuneta gave her fans a glimpse of the new home she and her family are having built, which will have more than enough space for their pets.

One of the areas she is looking forward to the most is a dog house for their furry family members, as per her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 16. The Megastar also posted a short video of a 3D rendering of the area.

“My little doggies here in our condo now are staying in the main house with us,” Cuneta said.

She then explained that her Chow Chow named Mochi, KC Concepcion’s Shih Tzu called Grandpa and Frankie Pangilinan’s beagles, Bea and Cupcake, will move with them to the new property.

Though she is excited over the dog house, Cuneta noted that the 3D video isn’t an “accurate representation” of it yet. Along with the space for the pets, the new home will feature a grooming area and playground for the animals as well. The actress-singer also hinted at welcoming new big dogs into their family.

“I think one of my callings aside from supporting rescues is — TO BREED MY FAVORITES! To sell,” she said. “Something to look forward to when I retire.”

“At least they’ll be in a loving home and there won’t be too many of them,” Cuneta added. “Nothing wrong with that. Especially if they are your passion.”

She then apologized to her fans for not showing the whole video of her new home. Cuneta explained that when she posted an old 3D video of the future house, she later saw a house with a similar design being sold online. After seeing it, she decided to change her plan and reduced its floor area.

“To me this is the right size okay?” she said of the house’s new design. “Magkakaiba ang sa tingin natin ay ‘tama’ kaya don’t judge me please ha?” (We have different opinions on what we see as “correct” so please don’t judge me, OK?)

She then reminded her fans that everyone has different realities and what is really important in life is to be happy.

Cuneta also promised to give a proper tour of the home if and when it is finished amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She assured that the house is already being constructed by workers who are happy to have a job during these unprecedented times.

According to her contractor, the house will take two years to build, which she says is perfect timing since she probably would not be working too much by then. However, she added that it may also be the time when her children all go abroad for college.

“Eh di pano magbobowling kami ni Miguel sa loob ng bahay [at saka] taguan? Ngek. Haaaay magkaapo naman sana ako. Kundi sorry Kiko [Pangilinan] dadami talaga mga aso ko,” she joked.

(So what will happen? Miguel and I would go bowling and play hide-and-seek inside the house? Sigh, I hope I get a grandchild. If not, sorry Kiko [Pangilinan], I really will have more dogs.)

While Cuneta and her family’s future house is still years away from being finished, the artist is making the most out of their current home. The Megastar previously launched her new online program called “The Sharon Show”, which she shoots from the comfort of their condo unit. JB
