Former couple Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia reconnected on Twitter as they revealed their upcoming project together yesterday, Aug. 10.
The two artists are set to star in a virtual production titled “Love Unlock: E-numan,” as per Barretto’s post. Garcia then shared her post on his own page and thanked Barretto for following him back on Twitter.

Barretto continued the playful banter, saying, “Sa IG follow back na rin?”
The actress unfollowed Garcia on Instagram last January while he was starring opposite Janella Salvador in the TV series “The Killer Bride.”

Garcia then poked fun at Barretto’s decision to unfollow him and said he would he would treat her to burger if she reconnects with him on the social media app.

However, Barretto teased Garcia further: “Wag ka abangers tonight, bukas na kita follow back.”

The former on-screen and real-life partners ended their relationship in June 2019. Though they had already split, the two made it clear that they were back to being friends.
Barretto and Garcia also stressed they were on good terms with each other after fans speculated that they snubbed each other at a promotional event for the film “Block Z” last January.
Their upcoming reunion project is set to launch on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 7:30 p.m. on Kapamilya Online Live. /ra
