Julia Barretto and her sisters Dani and Claudia are calling for monetary donations to provide an emergency quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.
They began the online fundraiser called “#ParaMayBukas” to help hospitals that are facing overcrowding amid the pandemic, Julia said in her Instagram post last Sunday, April 5.

The three women have partnered with architecture firm WTA Design Studio for the effort. The firm has been constructing quarantine facilities since last month in light of the increasing confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The sisters plan to raise P600,000 through their initiative. Out of the collected amount, P350,000 will be used to cover the cost of one emergency quarantine facility, while the remaining P250,000 will be used to provide PPE and meals for the team that will build the structure.
