MANILA, Philippines — As the famous Hotdog song goes, “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe ng buhay ko.”
And Sam Milby somehow believes this, as he sees Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray as “The One.”
“It’s early naman (to say), but I do believe she’s the one,” Milby proudly said during the press conference of his upcoming teleserye “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” on Friday.
It was on his 36th birthday that he made his relationship with the beauty queen public.
Rumors about Milby and Gray being a couple started when the two were spotted together in a farm in January 2019.
Milby was also identified as the “mystery guy” who attended Gray’s 26th birthday party last January 7.
With all the past heartaches he has gone through, is the actor ready to settle down with his Miss Universe girlfriend?
“Syempre, may difference sa edad namin, I’m 36, and she’s 26, and kakastart pa lang ng career niya,” Milby said.
(Of course, there’s a difference in our age. I’m 36 and she’s 26, and she just started with her career.)
And if someone suddenly would tell him “The Girl is Mine,” just like Michael Jackson’s song, how would he respond?
“Kung akin talaga, ipaglalaban ko (If it’s really mine, I’ll fight for it). It’s really mine, I’ll fight for it. I’ll fight for her,” the actor responded.
Milby is set to appear on the newest teleserye “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin,” opposite Iza Calzado, Jodi Sta. Maria and Maricel Soriano.
“Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” will premiere on the Kapamilya Channel and through steaming service iWant on Aug. 17.
