As Ruffa Gutierrez wished her “beautiful firstborn” daughter Lorin a happy birthday, the mom could not help but jest about her child’s potential love life.
“Always stay focused, study hard and don’t accept suitors yet,” Gutierrez said in her heartfelt birthday greeting via Instagram yesterday, Aug. 3. The proud mom expressed that she loves her daughter “to the moon and back.”
“Here’s wishing you a birthday that is as beautiful, incredible, and unique as you are,” Gutierrez stated.
The former beauty queen accompanied her birthday greeting with snippets of their mother-daughter bonding moments, as well as some of Lori’s stunning photos.
Gutierrez and her daughter appear to have a close and playful relationship.
A few days before Lorin’s birthday, the actress showed her daughter sporting a two-piece bikini on her Instagram page on July 24.
“My [firstborn] @loringabriella is almost 17,” Gutierrez’s account said. “Time flies.”
Later on, however, it was revealed that her daughter might have taken over her mom’s account, as Gutierrez commented, “Uhm did you post [this] while I was in the kitchen Lorin?”

“LOLLLLL,” Lorin replied without confirming or denying if she did make the post.

Some of Gutierrez’s friends from the industry noticed how much Lorin has grown, such as KC Conception.
“She’s a WOMAN,” Concepcion said.
“[Noooooo,] baby pa rin (still a baby),” Gutierrez replied.

The “Love Thy Woman” star has two daughters with her former husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas, the other one being Venice aside from Lorin. The former couple got married in 2003 but parted ways in 2007. Gutierrez claimed that she had been physically abused by Bektas. Meanwhile, Lorin marked a career milestone as she had her debut modeling endorsement in 2018. JB
