MANILA, Philippines —As her husband turned a year older on Wednesday, Camille Prats could not help but express how she and VJ Yambao made it as a couple for eight years now.
“Aakalain mo ba 8 years ago na nandito pala tayo ngayon? Kahit ako hindi pa din makapaniwala,” Prats said in an Instagram post.
(Would you believe eight years ago that we’re still together now? Even I couldn’t believe it.)
“Been riding your “toyo” for almost 8 years and counting and I wouldn’t have it any other way, she added. “Thanks for tolerating mine too.”
The actress also expressed how “proud and grateful” for having Yambao as her husband.
“Your dad jokes! Grabe, kung pwede ko lang i-share sa lahat ang lahat ng corny jokes mo na super benta sa akin each and every time, please don’t ever get tired of doing that,” Prats said.
(Your dad jokes! If I could only share to all your corny jokes that are funny for me each and every time, please don’t ever get tired of doing that.)
“I pray that God continues to work in what He has planted in your heart, may He give you the heart and the wisdom to lead our family towards the path He has prepared for our us,” she added.
And as she greeted her husband a happy birthday, Prats said that it was “amazing” for her to be stuck at home with him.
“But really love, it is amazing and I do enjoy most parts of it,” she said.
Prats and Yambao married in 2017 in Batangas. They have two children, Nala and Nolan.
The actress also has a son, Nathaniel, with businessman Anthony Linsangan, who died in 2011 of nasopharyngeal cancer.
