Jinkee Pacquiao paid a visit to the town where she grew up in Mindanao’s Sarangani province, tagging along daughters Mary and Queenie.
The wife of boxer and senator Manny Pacquiao shared a picture of her and her daughters on a “kariton”—a cart pulled by a carabao—yesterday, July 13.
Jinkee said she was thankful she was able to return to the town where she grew up and took her elementary studies.
“Sinasama kami noon papunta sa bukid sa niyugan ng tatay ko sakay ng kariton at ngayon masaya ako na ma-experience ulit na sumakay kasama ang mga anak ko,” she said, noting that her kids were happy and not scared to try the ride.
(We used to go to the coconut plantation of my father riding on a kariton, and now I am happy to experience it again with my kids.)
Jinkee recently faced criticism on social media after she posted a picture of luxury designer bicycles on Instagram, with actress Agot Isidro calling for “sensitivity” from the senator’s wife, considering the hardships that the country is experiencing, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. /ra
