Enchong Dee slammed presidential spokesperson Harry Roque after the latter told the public to “move on” from the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal application.

Roque made the remark yesterday, July 13, when asked about how the network could have helped the Department of Education with blended learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following Roque’s statement, Dee did not mince words when he criticized Roque on Twitter.

@attyharryroque you [disgust] me,” the actor said while sharing a post by ABS-CBN News quoting Roque’s remark.

“Alam ko makikita mo tong tweet na to because you follow me,” Dee added. “Sayang ka.”

(I know you will see this tweet because you follow me. You are a waste.)

While Roque urged the public to move on from the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise bid, he stated that it is indeed a loss. However, he stressed that the ruling made by the House legislative franchises committee should be respected.

Meanwhile, Roque assured that the over-11,000 employees of the network who are in danger of losing jobs can avail of existing government assistance for displaced workers. JB
