Paolo Contis thanked viewers for bringing his films into the top two spots of Netflix Philippines’ most popular movies list.

“Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” and “Through Night and Day” were among the top 10 movies in the country on the streaming platform, Contis told fans on Instagram yesterday, July 11.

“Maraming salamat sa mga nanood, nanonood, at manonood pa lang!!” he said. (Thank you to all those who watched, are watching, and are about to watch.)

He said both movies were in the first and second spots after being third and fourth the day before.

“Baka bukas, 0 na!!” he said in jest. (Maybe tomorrow, it will already be in zero.)

Both films were released in 2018 but only got to the platform this July. “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” has been streaming since July 2 and “Through Night and Day” since July 9.

In “Through Night and Day”, Contis stars opposite Alessandra de Rossi. The two play a couple set to be married and find their relationship tested during a trip to Iceland.

Meanwhile, “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” is a comedy about a trio of thieves planning a heist. They aim to steal a golden penis-shaped relic in a province so they can sell it for millions of pesos. It also stars Pepe Herrera and Jerald Napoles. JB
