As “Glee” star Naya Rivera has been presumed dead after going missing in California, USA, former co-stars have been incessantly praying and are asking fans to do the same.

Rivera was last seen with her 4-year-old son renting a pontoon boat at Lake Piru in Ventura County on July 8, as per NBC Los Angeles yesterday, July 9. By 4:48 p.m., however, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department received a report that the boy was alone in the boat.

Rivera’s vest and identification were found in the boat while her car was still in the parking lot. Her son, who was found asleep with his life vest on, is now with family members.

The son told investigators that he and his mother had been swimming and when he got back into the boat, her mother failed to follow, according to authorities via AP earlier today, July 10.

Dot-Marie Jones, who played Coach Bieste alongside Rivera’s Santana Lopez in “Glee,” asked fans to keep praying as search-and-rescue operations are ongoing.

“THIS CANT BE!!! PLEASE KEEP PRAYING! #nayarivera I LOVE YOU GIRL,” she said on Instagram yesterday, accompanied by a screenshot of the news.

“Praying,” Harry Shum Jr., who played Mike Chang in the show, meanwhile, tweeted yesterday as news of Rivera’s disappearance broke out.

Chord Overstreet, who starred as Sam Evans, likewise asked for prayers yesterday, posting: “love and hug on the people you can, while you can. I love you. Everyone please send out your prayers.”

Singer-actress Demi Lovato, who guest-starred on the show, also asked fans to pray that Rivera would be found “safe and sound,” through a now-expired Instagram story yesterday.

In another story, Lovato again asked fans to “pray for Naya,” noting that “nothing is impossible with God.”

“Oh God… mercy… please…,” Iqbal Theba, who played Principal Figgins, meanwhile, lamented on Twitter yesterday, sharing a news report of the incident.

Heather Morris, who played Brittany Pierce in the show, also asked the public through her Instagram Stories to pray for her friend and co-star’s safety.

“We need all the prayers we can get to bring our Naya back home to us. We need your love and light,” she was quoted as writing on the now-expired story, as per People yesterday.  /ra
