Four months into their marriage and Sheena Halili couldn’t help but gush over her husband Jeron Manzanero’s kindness, devotion and patience, especially now that she’s pregnant and experiencing mood swings.

“I was extremely grouchy towards you during our second month as a couple. Little did we know that my hormones were acting up, because I was already pregnant then,” the GMA 7 talent wrote in Filipino in a recent post on Instagram.

“And though I was being difficult, you would always assure me and tell me: ‘You’re my wife. I love you. It’s OK if you’re feeling that way. I can handle it!’” she said of Jeron, a lawyer who works as Pasig City’s administrator.

Sheena tied the knot with Jeron last February, after a two-year engagement. And their love for one another, she added, has only grown deeper since. “I’m happy that you’re my husband. My life has been full of joy with you. Nothing has changed. I love you even more and I feel that you do, too,” she said.

“Finding a life partner was the biggest decision I had to make. And I made no mistake choosing you,” stressed Sheena, who also shared with her followers throwback pictures of her and Jeron’s first overseas trip in Singapore, and their first date at the latter’s home in Tagaytay.

Preggy Sheena

Despite Jeron’s busy schedule, he still makes sure to accompany Sheena to her checkups and tend to her needs. “You always make time for us. You’re right: It’s as if we’re both pregnant, because you’re always there with me in my struggles,” she relatedShe jested that they can now resume cooking at home because she’s no longer sensitive to different smells. “But no garlic!” said Sheena, who was last seen in the 2019 series “Love You Two.”

The 33-year-old Kapuso actress, who’s around 15 weeks into her pregnancy, revealed that she and Jeron will finally get to know their baby’s gender next month.

“Please be more patient, OK? Hahaha! I know that you’re tired every day because of work. But I promise to be strong for you and our baby,” she said. “So much has happened the past four months. We got married; we’re now a married couple. And soon we will be parents.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
