Angelika Dela Cruz mourns father’s death

MANILA, Philippines – The father of actresses Angelika and Mika Dela Cruz has passed away.

Angelika shared the news of the death of her father Ernie in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“Daddy you are my best friend ang kakampi ko sa lahat. I’m heartbroken dahil iniwan mo ko agad.. I love you so much Dad,” the actress said.

(Daddy, you are my best friend and my ally in everything. I’m heartbroken because you left me so early. I love you so much Dad.)

Angelika did not disclose the cause of her father’s demise.

“Mabuti kang tao na maraming tinulungan.. pahinga ka na. Rest in Peace Dad,” she further said.

In previous posts, both Angelika and Mika asked the public to pray for their father’s recovery, but did not specify details of his condition.
