Alfred Vargas shaves 20 kilos off his weight
MANILA, Philippines — Declaring that he’s “striving to become a better version of myself during this pandemic,” Quezon City 5th District Rep. Alfred Vargas has revealed his fitness project and how he was able to slash 20 kilograms off his weight.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the actor-turned-congressman said: “Striving to become a better version of myself during this pandemic.”
So, what’s his secret to achieving a leaner frame? “Strict intermittent fasting and regular workouts,” he said.
“And I’m feeling good and energetic!” he also said.
However, Vargas is determined to lose more weight.
“Though I still need to lose more, knowing that I’m on my way to my goal motivates me even more. Inspiration gets you started but discipline gets you going,” he stressed.
In January, Vargas filed House Bill No. 5823 that seeks to require restaurants and fast-food stores to add nutrition information, revealing how much fat or calories their food contains, to their menus or menu boards.
