After the hit TV series “Ang Probinsyano” resumed its taping amid the COVID-19 pandemic, one of its stars John Prats has to be parted from his pregnant wife Isabel Oli and their two children.
Oli said Prats will not be with them for “quite some time” due to work, as stated on her Instagram post yesterday, June 17. The actress narrated the emotional moment when their eldest child, Feather, gave his dad an early Father’s Day gift since they would not be able to celebrate it together this year.
The actress showed Prats embracing his daughter while holding a white pillow with the words “I love you Papa.” Oli said a friend suggested printing Feather’s handwritten note on a pillowcase to add a personalized touch to their Father’s Day present.
“Definitely a one of a kind gift idea made exclusively for our dearest man of the house,” she said.
The gift got Prats “teary-eyed,” recounted Oli. “Simple, but perhaps, one of the most meaningful presents her Papa has ever received.” She then greeted her husband and “all the amazing dads in the world” a happy Father’s Day in advance.
Prats meanwhile expressed how much he misses his family by showing a screengrab of his video call with his kids, Feather and Freedom, on his Instagram Stories yesterday.
“Isang araw palang pero soobrang miss ko na kayo,” the actor said. (It has only been one day but I already miss you so much.)

The actors of “Ang Probinsyano” went back to taping this week after undergoing rapid testing for coronavirus. The cast, under a lock-in taping for the show, checked in at a hotel in Quezon City yesterday, June 17; they are advised to stay in one location as a precautionary measure, as per the Philippine Entertainment Portal today, June 18.
Meanwhile, Oli is pregnant with her third child with Prats. The couple made the announcement last March, adding that they are expecting baby number three this July. Prats and Oli have been married since 2015. JB
