Newlywed actors Megan Young and Mikael Daez are in no rush to have children. Daez addressed the topic after he and Young became an uncle and aunt to Daez’s newborn niece, Lucia.

Daez showed himself holding the child, with his wife right beside him, on his Instagram post last Tuesday, June 16. The actor teased fans and followers about having an “ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) baby,” but immediately clarified that the child was his niece. Lucia is the daughter of his sister, basketball analyst and former University of the Philippines Lady Fighting Maroon Bea Daez-Fabros.

“[It’s] our family’s first baby girl,” Daez said, adding the hashtag #WagAssumingPo (do not be assuming), as a joke.

The longtime couple got married in January. Young and Daez held two wedding ceremonies: an intimate wedding in Batangas attended by their closest loved ones, then a bigger wedding ceremony in El Kabayo, Subic. The couple, who are also avid gamers, showed a virtual version of their wedding through the mobile video game “Ragnarok M: Eternal Live” on Valentine’s Day. JB
