Dimples Romana penned a heartfelt message for her husband Boyet Ahmee to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary.
“17 years of a strong, indestructible, shatterproof, enduring kind of marriage and love,” she said on her Instagram page yesterday, June 14. “No one knows me better than you. You are my rock, my keeper, my person. Know that my heart will forever beat for you.”
“Dancing my way through the rest of my life with my [best friend] [heart emoji],” the actress added alongside a video of them dancing.
The couple recreated the steps to a popular Tiktok dance for the 2019 song “OUT WEST” by JackBoys and Travis Scott. Romana first posted the clip last March, to cheer their children up during the pandemic.
Romana later wrote another message while thanking people for their well wishes. She spoke about how keeping the love alive between a couple is a constant choice both partners have to make.
“Marriage isn’t about perfection and expectations,” Romana said. “It’s about making that conscious effort to love, to care, to accept, to forgive, to believe, to have faith, to hope and to embrace, and doing it over and over again, [every day], all day.”
“Myluv @boyetahmee mahal kita, at mamahalin kita ng paulit ulit, hanggang sa [h]uli,” she assured him.
(Myluv @boyetahmee I love you, and I will love you again and again, until the end.)
The couple tied the knot back in 2003 and have two children, Callie and Alonzo. JB
