Award-winning folk-pop band Ben&Ben will be treating fans with an online jam session on Saturday, June 13, during which they will perform the recently released track “Lifetime” live for the first time.
The nine-piece band will be going live via video-sharing app TikTok, they announced via Facebook last Wednesday, June 10. Ben&Ben said fans do not need to have an account to watch.
“[K]apag ba tinugtog namin yung ‘Lifetime’ LIVE for the first time ever (and our other songs), manonood ka ba? TikTok app, Saturday, [3 p.m.]! Live jam sa home page,” Ben&Ben posted.

The band came up with “Lifetime,” which was released on June 4, after a fan shared her story on the comments section of the music video of another Ben&Ben hit, “Pagtingin.”
The fan, who went by Anne jou on YouTube, talked of her failed romance with her best friend, whom she hid her feelings from for eight years. Little did she know then, that the best friend had actually been doing the same for five years.
They eventually confessed their feelings to each other, albeit being too late: the revelation came right before the best friend married another woman last January.
update: so.. this kept us up last night that we ended up writing a new song about it https://t.co/hzDmgQmPo2

“Lifetime” was among the three songs Ben&Ben was able to create during the quarantine, with the other two being “Nakikinig Ka ba sa Akin?” and “Doors.” Aside from creating music, however, they have been helping out those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and was able to help raise over P4 million in aid. /ra
