MANILA, Philippines — Film and television actor Coco Martin paid fellow “Ang Probinsyano” cast member Senator Lito Lapid a visit at the Senate on Tuesday, more than a month since the long-running teleserye’s home network shut down television and radio broadcast operations nationwide.
Martin plays the character of Ricardo Dalisay, while Lapid played the character of “Ang Pinuno” in the TV series.
It was the first time Martin visited Lapid in the Senate after the latter won in the 2019 senatorial elections, the Senate said in a Facebook post.
While ABS-CBN remains off the air, the network said a 10-episode recap of the current season of “Ang Probinsyano” will be aired through the Kapamilya Channel which is scheduled to debut on June 13 through Sky, Cablelink and most member-cable operators of the Philippine Cable Television Association (PCTA) nationwide.
