Comedienne Pokwang (real name: Marietta Subong) is warning fellow actresses of her former poser, who has been using their videos as content for its Facebook page.
Pokwang has already called out the page “Pokwang” last April, which infuriated the actress for using photos and videos of her family as content to earn money.
After being exposed, the poser – which had amassed more than 551,000 followers – changed the page’s name to Jokwang, this time using stolen content from actresses Maja Salvador, Heart Evangelista and Erich Gonzales.
“Hello @iammajasalvador @iamhearte @erichgg Please report this FB account na ginagamit mga videos ninyo para pagkakitaan, dati siyang fake na Pokwang at dahil nga nag Post ako na hindi sa akin that account ngayon pinalitan n’ya ng Jokwang,” Pokwang posted on Instagram yesterday, June 2.
(Hello @iammajasalvador @iamhearte @erichgg Please report this FB account, which has been using your videos to earn money. It used to be a Pokwang poser and because I posted to clarify that the account was not mine, it changed its name to Jokwang.)
“[N]asa Facebook ito hanapin n’yo at ireport Jokwang! Jong ina metch! Jutang ina mo ka joyaw mo talaga jumigil Joyop ka!!!” she added.
(You can find and report this Jokwang Facebook page. F*ck you! You son of a b*tch, you really are not stopping. You’re an animal.)
Gonzales has since acknowledged Pokwang’s warning and thanked the latter for informing her, commenting on the Instagram post, “Okay po. Thank you, Mamang [heart emoji].”
The Jokwang Facebook page may have been deactivated as it has been unsearchable on the social media platform, as of writing.
Other celebrities, such as Nadine Lustre, Angel Locsin, Chito Miranda and Vilma Santos, have also been victims of identity theft and are asking followers to be vigilant of such fake accounts. JB
