As barber shops remain closed amid the quarantine imposed in various parts of the country, actress Judy Ann Santos decided to give haircuts to family members herself.

Santos took to Instagram yesterday, May 29, to share with fans her newfound skills as she gave husband Ryan Agoncillo and daughter Luna haircuts for the first time.

“Barber skills unlocked! Sarado na po ang salon ko.. sabi ng balakang ko (My salon is now closed, according to my hip),” the actress said.

Santos also thanked celebrity hairstylist Jing Monis for guiding her online throughout the experience.

The post came with snippets of a focused-looking Santos during the haircut session with her husband and daughter inside their home.

“Kumpleto pa naman ang mga daliri ko, at walang dugong dumanak (My fingers are still complete, and no blood was spilled),” Santos joked.

Agoncillo also shared the experience via his own Instagram account on the same day. He joked about the decision through Bruno Mars’ hit “Marry You”: “[I]t’s a beautiful day, we’re looking for something dumb to do, [I] think I’m gonna haircut you.”

“So it’s come to this, my wife’s giving me a trim,” the actor added.

Agoncillo’s post came with a picture of himself looking worried before receiving the haircut as Santos holds a pair of scissors and a spray bottle behind him.

The couple just recently celebrated their birthdays during the quarantine, with Santos marking her 42nd birthday on May 11 and Agoncillo his 41st birthday on April 10.  /ra
