Christian Bautista is set to perform alongside Rico Blanco, Morissette Amon and other Asian artists in a benefit concert to help raise funds for UNICEF’s COVID-19 efforts.

The event, titled “One Love Asia, will be live-streamed on its YouTube channel on Wednesday, May 27 at 8 p.m., as per UNICEF Philippines’ post on Twitter last Friday, May 22.

All donations collected from the online show will be given to UNICEF to support its efforts against the spread of the coronavirus, as per a statement on the event’s website. The amount will also help the organization’s initiatives to “prevent the pandemic from becoming a lasting crisis for vulnerable children.”

Along with the Filipino singers, local dancers Ranz Kyle and Niana Guerrero, and Choi Siwon of the K-pop boy band Super Junior, will also be performing at the concert.

The upcoming benefit concert is part of UNICEF’s larger global campaign “#Reimagine” which provides children and their families with soaps, gloves, face masks and access to clean water. Donations also fund medicine, food and vaccines for communities in need. JB
