Hours before Mother’s Day, Pokwang stood up for her daughter, Malia O’ Brian, after a basher used a derogatory word to describe her child.

The comedienne posted a screenshot of the Twitter user’s remark on her Instagram page yesterday, May 9.

“Ang anak mo mukhang (Your child looks like [a]) [mongoloid],” the basher said.

Pokwang quickly fired back at the comment, saying, “Ganyan umatake ang mga kampon ni satanas kapag wala na maisip na pangbato sayo titirahin ka kung saan ka mahina!”

(This is how the followers of Satan attack when they can no longer think of words to throw at you, they will target where you are weak!)

She then called the netizen a troll, and said that her daughter was smarter than the basher.

“[A]kala ko ba matatalino mga trolls?” Pokwang asked. “[I’m] sure may anak [ka rin] na inosente at binubuhay mo sa pagiging troll mo sana mapakain mo s’ya ng maayos sa pang aalipusta mo sa anak ko na walang malay, at sana mapalaki mo s’ya na maging isang mabuting mamamayan.”

(I thought trolls were intelligent? I’m sure you have a child too that is innocent and that you provide for. [I] hope you get to feed him/her properly from insulting my innocent daughter, and [I] hope you raise him/her to be a good citizen.)

In light of Mother’s Day, the actress also greeted the troll’s mother and other moms around the world.

“Higit sa lahat… HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY SA AKIN NAPAKA GANDA NG REGALO MO SALAMAT,” she clapped back.

(Above all, Happy Mother’s Day to me, your gift is so beautiful, thank you.)

Malia is the only child of Pokwang with her partner, American actor Lee O’Brian. The child turned 2 years old last Jan. 18.  The comedienne also has an older daughter named Ria Mae, who she shares with a former Japanese partner. JB
