Actress Jewel Mische celebrated her second daughter, Emerald Jade, turning one month old. She marked the occasion with portraits showing the baby girl asleep in white, light pink and pale blue outfits on three stylish settings.
“One month of her angelic presence,” the proud mother said on her Instagram page yesterday, May 3.
Mische gave birth to her second daughter with her husband, Alister Kurzer, last April 3 amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“I must admit, it is such a strange time to be welcoming a little one into this world,” Mische said as she looked back on giving birth. “Although excited, I cannot help but consider the current state of our world while the joy that rests in my arms isn’t aware of what awaits her.”
She also shared some advice with fellow moms who are pregnant during these unprecedented times.
“If you are pregnant and have a newborn in this time of uncertainty and are feeling nervous, it’s ok,” Misched assured them. “If you’re stressed and anxious that’s ok too.”
“The beauty of children being born within these times, they were made for this. My heart is full of faith they are our little warriors,” she added.
Mische first revealed last December that she and Kurzer were expecting their second baby. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed their firstborn, Aislah Rose, in July 2018. JB
