Sharon gets ‘Crash Landing’ surprise from hubby Kiko for anniversary
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan spent the most of the quarantine period getting creative in greeting his wife, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, on the celebration of their 24th wedding anniversary Tuesday.

And what better way to do it than cashing in on Cuneta’s love affair with K-drama.
On Twitter, Pangilinan edited his and Cuneta’s faces to appear like they are the lead roles in the hit K-drama series “Crash Landing on You,” apparently the megastar’s favorite.
Pangilinan even called himself “Captain Ki,” a humorous take on the series’ lead role, North Korean officer Ri Jeong-hyuk, played by Hyun Bin. Meanwhile, Cuneta was “Sha-ri,” a play on her name and that of the lead female character, South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri, portrayed by Son Ye-jin.
“Happy 24th Wedding Anniversary, to my Sweetheart! I love you dearly ❤❤❤ Hahaha!” the senator said.
And it appears that Cuneta appreciated her husband’s efforts, as she shared the greeting in an Instagram post.

“Itong asawa ko alam niya si Hyun Bin ang labs ko ngayon kaya sa aming 24th wedding anniversary eto ang message niya sa akin!” Cuneta said.
(My husband knows that Hyun Bin is my love right now, that’s why on our 24th wedding anniversary, this was his message!)
Her husband was not done with his surprises, as Pangilinan also gave Cuneta a container full of “chicharon bulaklak,” instead of a bouquet of roses.
“Sabi ko, ANG SAYA-SAYA KO! PINAKAGUSTO KONG BULAKLAK ITO SA LAHAT NG BULAKLAK NA BINIGAY NIYA SA AKIN! Every year ito na lang sana! Hahahahahaha!” the actress joked.

Pangilinan and Cuneta tied the knot in April 1996. They have two daughters, singer Frankie and Miel, as well as an adopted son, Miguel. The senator is also a stepfather to KC Concepcion, who is Cuneta’s daughter with actor Gabby Concepcion.
