Kim Chiu is auctioning off her jersey from the 2019 Star Magic All-Star Games to help raise funds for frontliners in her home city of Cebu.
Proceeds from the jersey’s sale will go to an initiative launched by volleyball player Cherry “Sisi” Rondina, as seen on its Facebook page last Sunday, April 26. Chiu portrayed Rondina in an episode of the drama anthology series “Maalaala Mo Kaya” last July.
The red sports top also carries the number 16, which is the same number Rondina has on her jerseys. The starting bid for Chiu’s item was set at P1,500.
Those interested in purchasing the jersey must leave their bids on the post’s comment sections. The auction will end later tonight at 11:59. The amount collected from the auction will be used to purchase personal protective equipment and medical supplies for the essential workers in Barangay Luz. /ra
