While school operations are suspended amid the COVID-19 pandemic, actors and real-life couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo celebrated a milestone in the life of their youngest child, Juana Luisa (Luna), by holding a moving-up ceremony at home together with the rest of their children.

Santos showed Luna’s “quarantined” ceremony, which was also participated in by the child’s teachers and classmates in their respective homes. The couple’s two other children–Johanna Louise (Yohan) and Juan Luis (Lucho)–were also in attendance, as seen in Santos’ Instagram post yesterday, April 17.

“[Congratulations to] our bunny!” Santos said. “May graduate na uli kami (We have another graduate)!”

Despite the home ceremony, Luna donned a white bedazzled dress for the occasion, while the rest of the Agoncillo family wore semi-casual to formal outfits.

The family also prepared a makeshift banner for their new graduate.

Recently Agoncillo celebrated his 41st birthday at home with his family. Santos penned a touching birthday greeting to mark the occasion, stating that quarantined or not she and Agoncillo will be “together forever.”

While Luzon is under an extended enhanced community quarantine, mass gatherings such as graduation rites are prohibited to prevent the virus’ spread. However, the Department of Education clarified that these ceremonies are not necessarily canceled but could be held at a different date once the quarantine period is over.  /ra
