‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint expecting first child with longtime GF
“Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint is going to be a dad, as he expects his first child with his longtime girlfriend, actress Georgia Groome.
Groome was first spotted with a baby bump when the couple went out for groceries in London, United Kingdom last Thursday, April 9 amid the ongoing lockdown.
While the future parents are excited about their upcoming child, they also requested for privacy at this time, a representative told People on April 10.
Grint, who played Ronald Weasley in the popular “Harry Potter” saga, has reportedly been dating Groome since 2011. The actress is known for starring in the 2008 film “Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging”.
While the two have been private about their relationship online, Grint told The Guardian in 2018 that he would “like to settle down and have kids soon.” At the time, he also joked about the idea of naming a son after his character in the franchise.
