The veteran actress announced on March 31 that she and her husband were positive for COVID-19, joining a few other artists in local show business and media personalities who have been afflicted with the disease, including fellow Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado, who just got discharged from the hospital.

“Art and I are getting better each day,” she said then. “Although this is slower than our usual recovery, we know that with prayers and strict compliance with our doctor’s orders, we will get there.”
