Actress-comedian K Brosas donated boxes of alcohol and face masks to health workers combating the spread of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

Brosas sent the packages to the medical staff at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila, as seen in her Instagram post yesterday, March 29.

“Be safe po lagi [sa] ating mga masisipag na healthworkers/frontliners,” she said.

(To our hardworking [health workers]/frontliners, always be safe.)

The artist also said that personal protective equipment for the hospital staff are lacking right now. In light of this, she urged her followers to help out in any way they can.

“[G]usto ko man mabigyan lahat pero hindi ko kaya, pero kung lahat tayo ay tutulong kahit pa konti konti ay magiging malaking bagay na,” Brosas added.

(I want to give [supplies] to everyone but I cannot. If all of us help though, even in small ways, it will already be a huge help.)

Along with Brosas, celebrities such as Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Neri Naig, among others, have also recently donated various supplies to assist the health care workers in hospitals. JB
