Ricky Lee offers free online writing workshop in April
MANILA, Philippines — Ricky Lee is using the month-long quarantine period as a teaching opportunity; the esteemed writer will host a free online writing workshop this April.
The initiative is also a way to raise funds for film workers unable to work during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine. The Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop has partnered with the Lockdown Cinema Club, which has raised over P630,000 as of today.
Lee, whose screenplays include Philippine cinema classics like “Himala,” will conduct the workshop on April 8, 15 and 22, as seen yesterday in a Facebook post of Epicmedia Productions CEO Bianca Balbuena-Liew.
