“Game of Thrones” star Kristofer Hivju, known for playing Tormund Giantsbane in the HBO fantasy series, announced that he is positive for COVID-19 today, March 17.

Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, meanwhile, disclosed yesterday, March 16, on Instagram that she had tested positive for the disease and has “been ill for almost a week now.”

The Ukrainian actress, who starred in “Quantum of Solace,” said in a follow-up post that she was not hospitalized due to hospitals being at full capacity and prioritizing high-risk cases. She shared also that she got tested when she called to say her fever was over 39 degrees Celsius. Kurylenko said her fever went down yesterday.

Hivju, who hails from Norway, said on Instagram, “My [family] and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health — I only have mild symptoms of a cold.”

He advised, “There are people at higher risk for [whom] this virus might be a devastating diagnosis, so I urge all of you to be extremely careful; wash your hands, keep 1,5 meters distance from others, go in quarantine; just do everything you can to stop the virus from spreading.”

Hivju currently stars in another fantasy drama, “The Witcher.” The show halted production amid the coronavirus outbreak. Netflix told staff that it will deep-clean and disinfect the set and production offices, Deadline reported yesterday.  /ra
