Young Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes turned 17 years old yesterday, March 12, marking the special occasion by going full retro.

Brillantes, a self-confessed The Beatles fan, danced to the tune of “I Saw Her Standing There” in a video by Lit Labs Studios, which she posted on Instagram on her birthday.

“She was just 17 you know what I mean,” she said, quoting the lyrics of the said song.

Brillantes donned several vintage outfits inside an aptly themed retro restaurant, as seen in the video.

The teen star also danced to some of Abba’s greatest hits on another video made by Nice Print Studios, which she posted on Instagram a day before her birthday, March 11.

This time joined by backup dancers, Brillantes delivered a performance to the tunes of disco classics “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia.”

Staying true to the theme, Brillantes shared with fans also via Instagram yesterday her retro-themed photoshoot by photographer Shaira Luna.

Brillantes starred as the infamous Margaret Bartolome in the recently concluded ABS-CBN series “Kadenang Ginto,” which featured fellow teen star Francine Diaz and Dimples Romana, among others.  /ra
